What are some common issues that affect Pinterest?
When you are connecting your Pinterest to your Live Site, you may have some minor hiccups along the way. Luckily, it's pretty easy to navigate through this! You can also review steps to resolve here: Connecting your Pinterest.
Your Pinterest account is not a business Account:
In order for you to connect your Pinterest to GRIN, your account must be set up as a business Account. You can follow steps here to convert their account: Convert your personal account into a business account.
Once your Pinterest account has been upgraded to a Business type account, you will be able to authenticate the account on your Live Site provided by the brand you're partnering with.
To convert your Pinterest account to a Business Account using a mobile device...
- Open the Pinterest app.
- Select your account icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select the hexagon icon in the top right corner of your account page.
- Navigate to Account management in the menu.
- Select Convert to a business account.
- Follow the prompts to complete setting up your business account.
- Note: On the Do you have a website? screen, you can select No website yet to continue.
