What is Pinterest Authentication
A creator can log in to and authenticate their Pinterest account with GRIN through their Live Site. Authenticating with Pinterest is straightforward. You log in to a Business Pinterest account with GRIN, and then allow GRIN to connect. Personal Pinterest accounts are not eligible. GRIN cannot view or pull information from non-Business Pinterest accounts. You can follow steps in the video or refer to Connecting Your Pinterest.
To authenticate your Pinterest account using a mobile device...
- Find the Live Site URL sent to you from the brand you're partnering with, then copy and paste it into your browser app.
- When you arrive to the Live Site, select the Networks tab at the top.
- In the list of social networks, select Connect next to Pinterest.
- Enter your Pinterest account handle when prompted under Connect a Business Pinterest account, then select Continue.
- When you return to the Live Site, you will see your Pinterest handle and a green dot next to the Pinterest icon under Networks.
