What are some common issues that affect Pinterest?
When you are connecting your Pinterest to your Live Site, you may have some minor hiccups along the way. Luckily, it's pretty easy to navigate through this! You can also review steps to resolve here: Connecting your Pinterest.
Your Pinterest account is not a business Account:
In order for you to connect your Pinterest to GRIN, your account must be set up as a business Account. You can follow steps here to convert their account: Convert your personal account into a business account.
Once your Pinterest account has been upgraded to a Business type account, you will be able to authenticate the account on your Live Site provided by the brand you're partnering with.
To convert your Pinterest account to a Business Account using a desktop browser...
- Open Pinterest in your browser.
- Select the dropdown arrow next to your account icon in the top right corner.
- Select Convert to business from the menu.
- Review the comparison between a Personal and Business account on the page that appears, then select Upgrade.
- Verify that you've upgraded to a Business account by selecting the dropdown arrow next to your account icon; you will see the word Business under your name at toward the top of the menu.
